Petersburgers are known for their reverent attitude to ancient monuments and cultural heritage, but this does not mean that we are stuck in the past. We are thinking about the future, about how to make the urban environment comfortable and friendly for everyone. These and many other topics will be discussed at UrbanChangeWeek, an international forum that will take place at the Artplay Design Center from April 17 to 20. The event is supported by the local government and ITMO University.
The program will be rich and will combine educational and cultural-entertaining formats. Famous Russian and foreign urban experts will speak before the guests to help make life in the metropolis more meaningful and humane. Among the speakers will be the governor’s acting, Alexander Beglov. Each participant will be able to express their sore point, share their thoughts. All initiatives will be taken into account, and following the results of the forum they will draw up a resolution with a concrete action plan.
Participation in the forum is free of charge by registration. Details of the program can be found on the official website and on the VKontakte page.
