Russian restorers ready to help restore Notre Dame de Paris

Russian restorers intend to help the French in rebuilding the Paris Notre-Dame-de-Paris Cathedral, which suffered from a fire.
Deputy President of the Union of Restorers of Russia Yulia Loginova noted that what happened was a total loss and no one should stay away. Representatives of the National Committee of ICOMOS of Russia, the Russian Association of Restorers and the Union of Restorers of Russia are ready to give recommendations and help France “word and deed”.
At present, the main task of French experts is to assess the state of the cathedral structures and understand what damage the fire caused to the monument. Some sources claim that the lower structures remained intact. According to preliminary data, the reconstruction of the cathedral will take at least ten years. It is too early to talk about the possibility of completely rebuilding the building.
April 15 in the Notre Dame Cathedral, founded in 1163, a fire broke out. The fire was extinguished for nine hours, the cause of the fire is being determined.
