The Hermitage is one of the most famous museums not only in Russia but all over the world. The jewel of the Northern capital is the repository for a huge collection of art objects from around the world. This summer the Museum will delight of Petersburgers special exhibition in the Hermitage will bring paintings of Edouard Manet and Jan Vermeer.

That the Hermitage will bring paintings by famous masters, the head of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky. His intention is to show the people of St. Petersburg a few paintings of the founder of impressionism and recognized the greatest of the Dutch masters. In particular, visitors will be able to "Olympia" by Edouard Manet and "the Geographer" by Jan Vermeer.

The exact dates are yet to be announced. But in the near future, residents of the Cultural capital are not less interesting exhibition - exhibition of Chinese art at the center "Hermitage-Vyborg" and a retrospective of costumes of the fashion house of Slava Zaitsev in the Small Hermitage.
